During my first solo gallery show in New York, I displayed this image as an 11×14 foot print on the ceiling at 379 Broome Street. Beneath the image were four large bean bags where people could lie down and look up….straight up. Most people thought it was the Rockefeller Center, but indeed it’s the Portlandia Sculpture on the Portland Building in Oregon

Sculptural Lamp
Wandering around the backside of Pike Street Market in Seattle, I came across this sculpture. It is a lamp. There are probably five of them and I chose this one because of the sky.
Seattle Space Needle
Luckily the rain stopped enough for me to make this image. This is early spring and I hoped there wouldn’t be leaves on the trees. I lucked out.
Louise Nevelson Plaza
This is the first image I made in the Straight Up series which affirmed the project.
Brooklyn Bridge
There is a peregrine falcon in this image, can you find it? It’s abstract.
