Personal I
This is a collection of abstract images made in Yellowstone National Park, many of which show the dynamic and complex borders between hydrothermal pools, hardened sinter, and land. These patterns are reminiscent of coast lines, fjords, and other macro-dynamic systems found around the world. Images are made with the Hasselblad CF39 digital back mounted to a Sinar P2 view camera. This combination allows for exceptional resolution, precise control of the focal plane, and provides a perfect platform to stitch several images together to from even larger photographs–ideal for mural-sized prints.
