This image of Chinaman Spring is the latest addition to the Yellowstone National Park series. The interestingly varied sinter deposits along the edges of this thermal feature are determined by either the turbulent or calm nature of the bubbling, splashing, and rippling water.  The most active and violent water seems to produce the jagged projections which take on softer shapes in the hinter waters.  Limited edition prints of this image are available in various sizes up to 40×60 inches.  To see more images from this series, please follow this link: http://www.theseenphoto.com/Yellowstone
